Just one of those rides. Where you get off and are like- I'm a shitty rider. And then you start to wonder why you're even doing it in the first place.
I'm lucky to have good friends to commiserate with, who give good advice, and keep me motivated!
And this cute one....

Full of optimism! |
i hate that feeling... it's never as bad as you think it is... but really, those dapples tho!!
ReplyDeleteHate those moments. Never had them until recently either. Luckily they tend to go away after a bit.
ReplyDeleteOptimism is good!
We are our own worst enemies! Keep your chin up! :)
ReplyDelete*hugs* to you, this feeling will pass
ReplyDeleteThe cutest gray girl in all the land! Crappy rides are no fun...but it turns out we usually think it was way worse than it actually was!
ReplyDeleteI had the same ride last night. We've been schooling 3'-3'3" for months, and since we're only showing 2'6" this weekend Trainer put the jumps down to that height. I suddenly COULD NOT RIDE. Sloppy, crooked, missing distances, the whole shebang. What the freakin hell?
ReplyDeleteI've stopped trying to figure out why one day I can't ride my way out of paper bag (which begs the question of why I'd be trying to and where did this paper bag come from?) and the next I'm fine. It will continue to be one of life's great mysteries.
ReplyDeleteYou are not shitty! We all have our struggles.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is a new day and miss Ellie doesn't hold it against you!
ReplyDeleteshe is super cute...keep on keepin on!
