To celebrate Trainer Kate's Birthday we all went roller skating. I had no idea that roller blades were now know as "inlines."

New Shoes

Wilbur has been barefoot his entire life. Up until Thursday when we put a fancy new pair of aluminum shoes on him. Since he's starting to jump regularly we want to make sure his feet are protected. Aluminum shoes, although wear faster than steel, are lighter and conform to the hoof faster. I got to meet the farrier, Nicole (a lady farrier!) and she's awesome. Nicole made sure that Wilbur's first shoeing was easy and fun and he was a champ!
